British Vogue invited Stormzy to chat with his stylist Melissa Holdbrook-Akposoe (Melissa’s Wardrobe) and review his most iconic performances so far: from Stormzy’s breakout track ‘Shut Up’ and the headline-making 2018 Brit Awards performance, to his recent hit ‘Mel Made Me Do It’ — a tribute to his long-term friend & stylist.



The pair discuss the outfits that he’s worn during his rise to fame, alongside Stormzy’s newfound appreciation for fashion. “It’s sick to see that as much as I’ve grown, there are still things that are exactly the same,” Stormzy says as he reflects back. “I started in a black tracksuit with all the mandem, but we’ve ended in a hot-pink suit with the mandem… The same people that were there from the beginning”.
