10. Charlotte Garside
When women get pregnant, they are so excited about the pregnancy that they endure the pain in good fate. Unfortunately, it doesn't always come out as planned. Sometimes, parents are left disappointed but have to push through still. This is precisely what Charlotte Garside's parents had to go through after they birthed the smallest girl in the world. Although she was around eight years old, she was barely the size of a teddy bear. She was born as a premie, and doctors had predicted that she would not live beyond her first birthday.
Well, she is kicking harder today and is alive and healthy. She is often mistaken for a baby, thanks to a condition called Primordial Dwarfism. You won't believe that she weighs almost the same as a newborn baby. When she was born, she was barely 2 pounds. Her intelligence level is way lower than her parents had to hire a private tutor for her. Although the details of her condition are still sketchy, her family continues to support her and hopes for the best outcome.

Having birthmarks on parts of your body is nothing new. In fact, you may have one as you can see in this video. However, people have life-altering marks that make them different from others. One of such people is An Qi from China. His birthmark proved to be one of the worst things that can happen to anyone. The child was born with a significant mark that covered half of his face. While this ought not to be a problem, it developed into something strange. Over time, it began to grow hair and gave him the appearance of a werewolf.
It was discomforting for a child like him that he became the subject of jokes from his classmates. He had to also deal with physical discomfort arising from shaving the hair on his face. To add insult to injury, his father died a few years after birth, and his mother became mentally ill shortly afterward. He lived with his grandparents until a doctor volunteered to do surgery on the face. An Qi was admitted at the Jilin Mingyi Plastic Surgery Hospital for a free procedure.

8. Manar Maged
You may not have heard the concept of a parasitic twin since it isn't that rampant, but it is a thing. Manar Maged was an Egyptian baby born with her twin sister attached to her head. This is not the typical case of Siamese twins but a different one. In the former, both children are complete and joined together on the head. In this case, one child is whole, and the other is incomplete. Mana's twin sister, Islaam, was only a head and a torso but could blink and move her mouth. Doctors said that the only way Manar would survive was to remove her parasitic twin surgically.
The case is called Craniopagus Parasiticus, where a parasitic twin is attached to the other twin. Manar was operated on shortly after she was born, and her parents were glad that she survived it. Unfortunately, she passed on barely two years after the procedure. Her sister died shortly after she was surgically separated from her sister. To this day, no one has been able to survive this kind of operation, as the patients always die a few months after.

Most mothers would not mind that their labor pain lasts for hours, provided that their child survives it. When Deepak's mother was expecting him, she felt so many pains and complications from the pregnancy. He was born with four extra limbs protruding from his body, and it appeared he was housing a parasitic twin inside his body. He was famously known as the Eight-Limbed Boy as he had limbs on his chest and stomach.
Thankfully, he was privileged to undergo a complicated surgery at no cost to his family.
