NSC discusses measures needed to provide help, safety to Afghans arrival in S. Korea

The National Security Council has discussed potential measures to help the Afghans arriving in the nation.
During a weekly meeting on Thursday, the members touched on methods including cooperation with related ministries and local district governments.
They also reviewed international cooperation and the current situation in Afghanistan.
Regarding the U.S. and Russian nuclear envoys recent visit to Seoul, the NSC highlighted the importance of improving diplomatic efforts to resume talks with Pyeongyang... through close communication with related countries.
